Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

• Location: Greensburg, PA
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Duration: 17 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of PCU experience
• License: Pennsylvania or compact license required at submission
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• Charting: Any EMR accepted
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5–1:6
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required as needed
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit Size: 35 beds

Key Requirements

• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmias, and progressive care patients required.
• Common diagnoses include CHF, new-onset atrial fibrillation, COPD, and pneumonia.
• May manage cardiac and other drips, including Cardizem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin, dopamine, and heparin per protocol.
• Up to 2 RTO requests may be considered; all requests must be submitted with the application and are subject to approval.
• Block scheduling requires manager approval.
• Candidates living within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions only.
