Registered Nurse – Cath Lab

Location: Charleston, WV
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 12, 2026
Shift: Day Shift, 4x10 Hours (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform circulating duties in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including structural heart procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation and medications as required.
• Conduct patient assessments and provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekday nights and rotating weekend call.
• Float within the nurse's scope of practice if needed, although the primary assignment will be in the Cath Lab.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, with competency in diagnostic, interventional, and structural procedures.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Active West Virginia RN license required before the start of the assignment. Pending licenses may be accepted for submission.
• RCIS certification alone does not qualify as a nursing license for working in the Cath Lab in West Virginia.
