Description
Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Visalia, California
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Mid Shift: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Requirements
- PharmD degree required.
- Active California Registered Pharmacist license required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience Must
- Inpatient/Outpatient: PGY-1 residency or at least 2 years of clinical pharmacist experience, or current Kaweah Health Pharmacy Resident.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
- Monitor medication therapy for safety, effectiveness, and potential interactions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records.
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients and staff.
- Follow hospital policies and state/federal medication regulations.
