CCU RN / Cardiac ICU – Job Details
Job Overview
- Facility: The Johns Hopkins Hospital
- Unit: CCU – Zayed 5 West, Cardiac ICU
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland
- Shift: Rotating days/nights (7 AM / 7 PM)
Required Experience & Skills
- 2 years of current CCU/CVICU/CVSICU nursing experience.
- Strong acute cardiac critical care experience.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Impella
- Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Pulmonary artery (PA) catheters
- Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
- Ability to care for high-acuity patients with advanced cardiac devices.
Required License & Certifications
- Active RN license.
- BLS.
- ACLS.
Preferred Qualifications
- EPIC charting experience.
- ECMO experience.
- Critical Care Certification (CCRN or equivalent).
- Trauma course.
