Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:45 PM start; 36 hours/week
- EMR: Cerner
- Floating: Required between SICU/TICU and other Sacramento facilities; first to float
- Experience: ICU experience required; SICU requires vascular/major surgical experience; trauma experience preferred for TICU
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (EOW)
- Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; TNCC required for TICU
- Unit Description: SICU (10 beds) and TICU (8 beds); surgical, vascular, and trauma critical care. CRRT, vents, and telemetry.
- Ratios: 1:1–2
- Trauma Level: Level II
- Scrubs: Navy
Cancellation Policy: Up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
