General Information:
Number of ORs: 19, split between 2 locations in the hospital
Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No, 2 years
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Upon review
Required Licensure and Certifications: CST, BLS
Technology/Equipment:
EMR: EPIC
IV pumps: Alaris
Medication dispensing: Pyxis
Case Types:
General, Robotics, Bariatrics, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiac, Urology, ENT (sinus, ear tubes, tonsils, thyroids), Plastics, Endovascular, fistulas
Skills required: Scrub, assist with sterile processing, positioning pt. Robotics experience a must (DaVinci XI)
Anesthesia Tech: Room turn over, refill gases, safety checks on equipment, stocking
Floating: If yes, where?
Between the Main OR and East side (same building), potentially to the West Side surgery center across town (rare)
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: Possibility of some weekends
On call? No call for RN, ST, or Anesthesia Techs
Holiday Expectations? Could work some holidays
RTO approval to go through manager
Shift times: Refer to posting
