Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
Facility: LBH – Sinai Hospital

Position Details
- Shift: Day shift, 4×10 hours
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Contract Duration: 98 weeks listed — confirm actual duration
- Daily Census: Approximately 10 cases
- Department: 3-room Interventional Radiology
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Call: Required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Weekend Call: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
- Weekday Backup Call: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Holiday Call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM, if needed
- Floating: Required within scope; may float to a nearby affiliate hospital
- Scrub Color: Any color
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Active Maryland RT license required
- ARRT-R certification
- BLS and ACLS
- Neuro-interventional experience
- Vascular interventional experience
- Experience with the following procedures:
- Biopsies
- Peripheral vascular procedures
- Hemodynamic monitoring
- Stroke procedures
- Kyphoplasty
- Nephrogram procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT-VI certification
- Fluoroscopy permit
- Siemens equipment experience
- Cerner charting experience
- Level I trauma experience
Additional Requirements & Policies
- Flu vaccine: Required; medical exemptions only
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- RTO: Up to 14 days may be auto-approved; no RTO after auto-offer
- Every other winter and summer holiday is required; no holiday RTO.
- No RTO on hard-to-fill days, including Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day.
- Two references required.
- SSN and DOB required for submission.
- Return travelers must have a separation period of at least 6 months; return eligibility is reviewed case by case.
- Travelers cannot work at this facility for more than 365 days total before the required separation period.
Equipment: Siemens preferred; Philips, Toshiba, and GE equipment are also used.
