Description

Pathology Assistant

Location: WVU JW Ruby Memorial Hospital – Morgantown, WV
Start Date: 10/13/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, starting between 7:30–9 AM
Hours: 40 guaranteed per week

Requirements:

1+ year of experience
ASCP Pathologists’ Assistant certification required
Bachelor’s degree required
BLS (AHA) listed in system requirements; facility notes state it is not required
Epic Beaker AP and voice recognition experience preferred
Experience with grossing simple and complex tissue specimens
No weekends, holidays, or call
Hospital-provided scrubs

May work at Main Ruby, Children’s, or Innovation Corporation.
