Evening Shift: 3:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
 

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide quality nursing care to patients in acute care and telemetry settings. Nurses will care for a diverse patient population requiring medical-surgical treatment, cardiac monitoring, orthopedic care, oncology services, neurological rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, and progressive care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and manage symptoms.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and fluid replacement.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to assistive personnel.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
• Provide central line care and manage heparin drips and coagulation bridging.
• Manage chest tubes, drainage systems, Foley catheters, and ostomies.
• Provide wound care, including wound vacuum therapy.
• Deliver pain management and pre-operative/post-operative care.
• Administer blood products.
• Support patients receiving oncology care and those experiencing chemotherapy-related symptoms.
• Assist with neurological rehabilitation and recovery.
• Monitor patients for sepsis, respiratory complications, cardiac conditions, and other acute medical concerns.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years.
• Medical-surgical nursing experience; acute care experience preferred.
• Active Ohio RN license or multistate RN license through a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Evening and night shifts available.
• Evening shift: 3:30 PM – 3:00 AM.
• 36- or 48-hour weekly schedules available.
• Floating required within the nurse's specialty.
• No on-call requirement.
• Holiday work is required.

• Requests for time off (RTO) are accepted.

   

Pay Package – 36 Hours per Week

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,314

• Regular Pay: $24.00/hour × 36 hours = $864.00
• Weekly Lodging Stipend: $1,450.00
• Meals Stipend: $0.00
• Total Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,314.00

Pay Package – 48 Hours per Week

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2,977

• Regular Pay: $24.00/hour × 40 hours = $960.00
• Overtime Pay: $36.00/hour × 8 hours = $288.00
• Weekly Lodging Stipend: $1,729.00
• Meals Stipend: $0.00
• Total Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,977.00
