Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated  Pharmacist in Lower Brule, South Dakota with excellent communication skills, critical thinking skills, and team player attitude. This provider will be responsible for caring for patients, communicating with other medical team members and maintaining accurate medical records.

Duties:

• Read medication orders from the prescriptions and process prescription orders in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and check for completeness, appropriateness, and allergies.
• Check for any drug-drug and drug-food interactions
   
• Provide instructions to all prescribing practitioners as to substitutions of medications as applicable and answer any medical questions pertaining to medications and patient care.
   

Job Requirements:

• Any state license accepted
   
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• BLS – American Heart Association – American Heart
