CT Technologist (CT Tech):

Facility: Barberton Campus
Contract Dates: October 18, 2026 – January 16, 2027
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM / 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 40 hours per week; rotating 10- and 12-hour shifts
Equipment: Toshiba/Canon CT equipment
Call Requirements: None
Weekend Rotation: Required
Holiday Coverage: Not required

Position Overview:

The CT Technologist performs CT imaging and general radiology procedures, including supporting emergency department imaging and stroke team activities. The technologist assists with invasive procedures as assigned and performs additional duties within the scope of training, competency, and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging and general radiology procedures according to department protocols.
• Support emergency department imaging and stroke team procedures.
• Operate Toshiba/Canon imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations.
• Administer intravenous contrast when appropriately trained and authorized.
• Assist with invasive procedures and other radiology duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the facility’s computer and filing systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Assist with patient lifting, positioning, and safe use of restraining devices when necessary.
• Maintain patient dignity, respect, and safety throughout procedures.
• Maintain CPR certification and respond to emergencies within the scope of training.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Licensure

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Ohio Radiographer license.

Experience

• One year of radiology technology experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain CT registry within one year of hire.

Required Skills

• Ability to operate and calibrate imaging equipment.
• Competency in patient positioning and intravenous contrast administration, as applicable.
• Ability to lift and position patients safely.
• Effective verbal communication and patient-care skills.
• Computer skills for maintaining patient records.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to complete training and demonstrate competency in additional radiology procedures.
