CT/X-Ray Technologist – Day Shift

Schedule Options:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, or
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Start Time: 7:30 AM
• Candidate's preferred schedule must be specified at submission if not choosing four 10-hour shifts.

Job Description:
 

The CT/X-Ray Technologist performs computed tomography and general radiography procedures to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. The technologist prepares patients, operates imaging equipment, follows radiation safety protocols, and ensures high-quality images and accurate documentation.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans and general X-ray examinations according to physician orders.
• Prepare patients and explain imaging procedures.
• Operate CT and radiography equipment safely and obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Follow radiation safety, patient identification, and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate imaging records and follow facility procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to call-backs within 30 minutes.
• Work Saturday clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM during assigned call weekends, with weekday schedules adjusted accordingly.
• Participate in holiday rotation.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous CT experience is mandatory; CT certification is not required.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• ARRT Radiography certification.
• Active Kansas LRT license through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA).
• All required certifications and licensure must be included in the candidate's profile at submission.
