Ardor Health Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a skilled nursing travel contract at Northern Pines Rehab and Nursing in Cut Bank, Montana!
This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who enjoys working with adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing rehabilitation setting while experiencing the incredible natural beauty of northern Montana.
Best of all, you'll be located near Glacier National Park, one of the most spectacular outdoor destinations in the country!
Position Overview
You'll provide occupational therapy evaluations and individualized rehabilitation services to residents recovering from illness, injury, surgery and other conditions affecting their independence.
You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to help patients regain essential daily living skills, improve functional mobility and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide ADL training and functional rehabilitation
- Address upper-extremity strength, coordination and mobility
- Assist patients with adaptive equipment and compensatory techniques
- Work with patients recovering from orthopedic and neurological conditions
- Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP and other rehabilitation professionals
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active Montana Occupational Therapist license
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
- NBCOT certification, as applicable
- Skilled nursing or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
