Required Qualifications

Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
ACLS (AHA)
BLS (AHA)
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
Negative drug screen for all panels

Preferred Qualifications

NRP
PALS

Experience

Some experience with the listed adult equipment
Working knowledge of EPIC

Patient Population

Mostly adults
Minimal peds and neonates

Coverage Areas

ICU
Post ICU
Medical
Surgical
OB
ED

Duties

ABGs and EKGs performed
Assist with intubation only

Schedule

12-hour shifts
1830-0700
Self-scheduling offered
Saturday/Sunday every 3rd weekend
Holidays included
Weekend call at least once every 6 weeks
30-minute call response time

Orientation

12 hours
Minimum 3 shifts for department-specific orientation

Additional Notes

Local rate applies within 50 miles
Call-off policy: equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift
Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
No dress code requirements
