Description
Clinical Pharmacist | Visalia, CA
Facility: Kaweah Health / SRCC
Shift: Days 7 AM–5 PM or Mids 1 PM–11 PM
Schedule: 4x10s | 40 hrs/week
Start Date: 9/21 | Experience: 3 years required
Requirements: PharmD degree and active California Pharmacist license in hand.
Inpatient/Outpatient: Completed PGY-1 residency or 2 years of clinical hospital pharmacist experience (or current Kaweah Health Pharmacy Resident).
Specialty Requirements: Additional experience may be required for Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Oncology, Infectious Disease, Ambulatory Care, or Home Infusion assignments.
Responsibilities: Verify medication orders, monitor drug interactions and therapies, manage dosing protocols, review/prepare IV medications, provide clinical consultations, and document interventions.
Additional Details: Floating may be required. Candidates must live at least 150 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted. COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted). Previous facility staff must be away for at least 1 year.
