Description

Position: CT Technologist – Travel

Schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Shift: 3 × 12-hour night shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of specialty experience
ARRT certification required
BLS required

Facility & Department Details

24-hour CT department
Three Siemens CT scanners:
- Edge Plus
- Definition AS
- Force
Average exam volume:
- Weekdays: 130 exams per 24 hours
- Weekends: 80 exams per 24 hours
Patient population: Inpatients and outpatients
Systems: Cerner, Bayer Medrad Contrast Injector
Procedures include:
- Coronary angiography
- Various biopsy procedures
- Abscess drainage
- Pre-Watchman protocols
- Ablation protocols

Holiday Requirements

Must work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday.

Major holidays — 2 of 3 required:

Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
New Year's Day

Minor holidays — 1 required:

Friday after Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
New Year's Eve
