Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Watertown, NY | 8 Weeks
Samaritan Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for an 8-week travel assignment. The RT will provide advanced respiratory care, ventilator management, and critical care support in an acute care hospital environment.
Shift:
• 3x12 Days
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 Guaranteed Hours
Pay:
• Up to $2,252/week
Requirements:
• Active New York Respiratory Therapist License
• RRT Credential (NBRC)
• Graduate of an AMA-Accredited Respiratory Care Program
• BLS
• ACLS
• Minimum Acute Care Respiratory Therapy Experience
Preferred:
• NRP
• PALS
Responsibilities:
• Ventilator Management
• Airway Management
• Oxygen Therapy
• ABG Collection & Interpretation
• Aerosol & Nebulizer Treatments
• Respiratory Assessments
• Critical Care Support
• Emergency Respiratory Interventions
Skills:
• Knowledge of Acid/Base and Electrolyte Relationships
• Management of Life-Threatening Respiratory Conditions
• Advanced Ventilator Settings and Measurements
• Critical Thinking and Patient Assessment
