REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Must be comfortable working independently in a small Family Birth Center.
• May be the only L&D RN physically present on-site; the facility attempts to have a second L&D RN available on call.
• Must be experienced in:
  • Labor and delivery care.
  • Maternal and fetal monitoring.
  • Emergency obstetric response.
  • Newborn care during C-sections, with assistance from Respiratory Therapy and Anesthesia.
• Must be willing to assist the Medical-Surgical department with nursing tasks when needed.

SCHEDULE

• Shift: 12-hour Days.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• BLS – AHA required.
• ACLS required.
• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program required.
• Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (AFM) required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required

LICENSE

• Active RN license required.
