REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• RN experience appropriate for a Medical-Surgical/PCU setting required; minimum years not specified.
• Must be competent in:
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessment.
  • Foley catheter insertion.
  • Peripheral IV (PIV) insertion.
  • Blood draws.
  • Initiating Code Stroke protocols.
• Must be comfortable managing a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a patient-focused attitude expected.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience with Meditech beneficial; not explicitly listed as mandatory.

SCHEDULE

• Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• 12-hour shifts.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• NIH competency required.

Confirm whether the facility requires an active NIHSS certificate or completion of its NIH competency assessment.

LICENSE

• Active RN license required.
