Description
Position: Director of Nursing (DON)
Location: Madison, WI 53711
Position: Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite
Salary: up to $115,000/year (Negotiable)
Facility Overview
A small senior care community featuring a 33-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), 20 Assisted Living units, and 20 Memory Care units.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee resident care and nursing department operations.
- Supervise, train, and support nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal and Wisconsin state regulations.
- Develop and evaluate care plans and clinical services.
- Maintain quality standards, accurate documentation, and resident safety.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Preferably 1–5 years of Director of Nursing experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations, Medicare, and Medicaid.
