Average 120 births/month
Beds: 23
Experience: minimum 2 years of LDRP (4 years’ experience most preferred)
First-time traveler: Yes
Required Certifications: RN: BLS, NRP, FHM, ACLS
Charting System/Equipment:
EPIC
Alaris
Pyxis
Monitors: Nurse station & bedside – FHM
Telemetry
Patient Types: All gestational ages, no GYNE surgeries, antepartum, mother-baby, labor and delivery.
Patient Ratios: 1:1 active labor, 1:2 – laboring, 1:3-4 couplets
Skills required: Level 3 OB experience, labor experience most preferred, circulate c sections preferred, LDRP experience, FHM.
Orientation:
General hospital orientation
1 shift on the unit with a preceptor (on hired shift)
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every other weekend
Floating: travelers float first – Gyn/mother-baby overflow
No Call
Can we approve time off? Up to 7 days
Every 6 weeks cycle, you will receive the schedule at least 2 weeks before it begins.
