RN – PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week
- Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Certifications: BLS required
- Weekend Requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Floating: May be required between units, departments, and facilities
- Additional Duties: Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed
Required Skills: MS/Tele, PCU/Stepdown, cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drips (no titration), vasoactive drips (no titration), post-MI and cardiac cath care, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, central/PICC line management, blood product administration, renal failure and hemodialysis care, chest tubes, tracheostomy management, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, ABG interpretation, wound care, and more.
