Description

RN Step-Down/PCU – Job Summary

Specialty: Step-Down / PCU (Progressive Care Unit) – Step-down/PCU candidates only
Shift: 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekends: Rotating
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience
License Required: Active RN license (single-state or compact)
Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS
Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to other Telemetry units, Orthopedic Surgical Trauma, and acuity-adaptable units.

Patient Population: Step-down patients may include those requiring insulin drips, sepsis management, and close monitoring of higher-acuity conditions.
