Description
Endoscopy RN – Salem, MA
Shift: 40 hrs, days, 7:15a–3:45p, with 1 rotating day of 8:00a–4:30p or 7:00a–5:30p
Contract weeks: 13

Unit details
- GI/Endo unit with 7 rooms: 4 MAC and 3 conscious sedation
- Holding and recovery rooms
- Bed count: 18 PACU bays and 8 procedural rooms
- Census of 60–70 procedures a day
- Open weekdays (6:30a–5:30p), with on call for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ratio: 1:1 in procedure rooms, 1:2–3 in PACU
- Patient population: diverse
- Floating: not required
- Rotating shifts: required, depending on hours
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in one location
- 2 years of experience working as a traveler
- Skills: GI Tech endoscopy, and Olympus scope set-up, handling, and reprocessing
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- AHA ACLS
- SGNA or CBSPD certification strongly preferred
