Polysomnographic Technologist Contract Opportunity – Skokie, IL

Favorite Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Lab Tech) for a 16-week contract in Skokie, IL! This is a great opportunity for an experienced Sleep Technologist looking for a full-time night shift contract with an established healthcare system.

Position Details

• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Location: Skokie, IL
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As needed
• On-Call: Required
• Floating: Required between Old Orchard and Swedish sleep labs as needed

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Polysomnography/Sleep Lab experience
• Required Certification: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
• Additional Certification: Current BLS/CPR
• New Graduates: Not accepted

Clinical Experience Preferred:

• Performing diagnostic polysomnography (sleep studies)
• Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) titration
• Bilevel PAP and Bilevel ST titration
• Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV) titration
• Inspire therapy and oral appliance experience
• Overnight patient monitoring and sleep study acquisition
• Experience using the Nihon Kohden PolySmith Sleep System
• Previous experience independently managing overnight sleep lab patients
• Familiarity with PolySmith acquisition software and sleep study equipment
