Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse for an ongoing PRN opportunity in Panorama City, California. This position is ideal for RNs looking for a flexible schedule while remaining part of an established healthcare system’s available nursing pool.

This is an ongoing PRN contract, with continued placement as long as both the candidate and client wish to maintain the arrangement. Candidates must commit to working at least one shift per week and provide their full monthly availability in advance.

Pay Package

• Gross Weekly Estimate: $896.00
• Taxable Pay: $64.00/hour
• Overtime Rate: $96.00/hour
• Hours: 12 hours per week

Pay Package & Earning Potential

• Regular Rate: $64/hour
• Overtime Rate: $96/hour
• 12 hours/week: $896 gross per week
• 24 hours/week: $1,792 gross per week
• 36 hours/week: $2,944 gross per week
• 40 hours/week: $3,328 gross per week
• 48 hours/week: $4,096 gross per week
• 60 hours/week: $5,248 gross per week

Weekly estimate is based on 8 regular hours at $64/hour and 4 overtime hours at $96/hour, totaling $896. Actual earnings depend on hours worked and applicable overtime rules.

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum of 1 year of MedSurg/Tele experience

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

   

PRN Scheduling Expectations

• Must be available to work at least one shift per week.
• Shifts are booked in advance, similar to traveler scheduling.
• Candidates must submit their full monthly availability every month.
• No on-call requirement.
• Candidates may be asked to float to other units based on their scope of practice.
• Contracts may continue for 6+ months and will only be canceled if requested by the candidate or client.

Important: This opportunity is not a fit for candidates who cannot consistently commit to at least one shift per week.
