Position: Temporary Registered Nurse 
Contract Length: 35 days, with an option to extend 
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Location: 1480 Snelling Ave. N., Saint Paul, MN 55108

Required Qualifications: 

• MN State RN License and AHA BLS.
• Auto Insurance and Malpractice insurance 

Duties: 

• Participate in the medical examination of students.
• Specimen (blood and urine) collection as needed (phlebotomy).
• Screen patients and refer them to Center Physician, Health and Wellness Manager and/or the Center Mental Health. Observe, records and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and behavior.
• Perform first aid treatment as needed.
• Assist the physician with the patient examination; prepare patients for tests and the examination.
• Provide guidance for students in matters of personal hygiene.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications as directed.
• Maintain medical equipment and inventory of supplies and medications.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Promote projects that support health and safety throughout the Center.
