🏥 RN – PCU | Progressive Care Unit
📍 Louisville, Kentucky
📅 13-week contract | Possible Extension

🌙 Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced PCU RN to provide high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and an elevated level of nursing care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients with complex medical conditions
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies
- Manage and monitor patients requiring telemetry
- Recognize changes in patient status and respond appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide patient and family education
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and patient-care standards
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Recent PCU/Progressive Care or Step-Down experience
- Experience caring for telemetry and moderately acute patients
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Previous acute-care hospital experience preferred
