Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehabilitation

Location: Brighton, MI 48116
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Options:

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Rehabilitation position in Brighton, Michigan. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation while supporting their recovery, safety, and overall well-being. Candidates must have prior psychiatric experience and a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients in accordance with established care plans and facility policies.
Assess patients' health conditions, monitor vital signs, and document changes in their clinical status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Assist patients with rehabilitation goals, recovery plans, and activities of daily living as appropriate.
Monitor patients for physical and behavioral changes and report concerns to the appropriate healthcare team.
Apply psychiatric nursing knowledge when caring for patients with behavioral health needs.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and recovery goals.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with nursing standards and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to Michigan.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Previous psychiatric nursing experience is required.
Ability to provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
Willingness to work the assigned shift and every other weekend.
