Description

Inpatient Pharmacist – Critical Care/ED

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Start: 11/10/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Evenings, 12:30 PM-9:00 PM or Swing, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM; 40 hrs/week
Openings: 2

Requirements:

Texas State Board of Pharmacy license required
BCCCP or BCEMP board certification required
PGY2 Critical Care/ED residency or 5+ years of ICU/ED clinical care experience
1 year of ASHP-accredited residency or 4+ years of acute hospital experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Critical care/emergency medicine clinical pharmacy experience, including codes and traumas experience needed

Additional:

Onsite role in the Emergency Department or ICU
Experience attending Code Blues, RSI, Code Stroke, and Code Sepsis
Responsibilities include STAT order verification, medication recommendations, antibiotic stewardship, pharmacokinetic monitoring, and drug utilization review
Evening and swing shifts available; day shifts may be considered for candidates with rounding experience
Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions permitted
