OBGYN Sonographer Setting: Healthcare Facilities Job Type: Travel Pay: $3070 / WeekHours: 40.00Location: Dallas, TX
 

The Cardiac Sonographer performs routine and complex echocardiography.  Prepares and positions patient for echocardiography exam and explains procedure.  Operates cardiac ultrasound, doppler and similar equipment to perform procedures according to physician's directive.  Observes the screen during the scan to ensure a satisfactory image for diagnostic purposes making adjustments as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A certification from an accredited ultrasound/sonography school
• One year of experience as an ultrasound technician/sonographer preferred
• Current BLS card
• Current TB test or chest x-ray
• Current physical exam per state or contract requirements
• Successful completion of Amergis’ testing process
• Successful completion of background screening and hiring process
