Job Summary – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical

Job Details

Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Duration: 90 weeks listed — confirm with the agency, as this is unusually long for a travel assignment.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (EOW); every third weekend may be considered.
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday (EOH)
Floating: May be required within the nurse’s skill set or to other facilities within 40 miles.
EMR: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Active RN state license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Experience using EPIC
Previous travel nursing experience preferred, but not mandatory.
Completion of required nursing competency exams and Med-Surg skills assessments.
NIH requirement: Listed in the job description; clarify the exact certification or requirement with the agency.
