Shift Information

0530-0630 flex start times, 5x8hr shifts M-F

On Call, Call Back Requirements

Rotating extended shift, night, weekend, holiday call based on current staffing. Currently works out to about 2 overnight and 1 weekend of call per month.

Floating Requirements

No floating, only assisting with procedures in other departments where cardiac surgeons are involved (Cath Lab, Main OR, etc.)

Patient Types:

Cardio and Thoracic surgeries – CABG, TAVR, Valve replacements, Thoracic cases are robotic (lobectomy, hernia repair), Generator exchanges, Lead extractions, Heart transplants, Fem-pop bypass
