CVICU RN – Day Shift

Shift: Day Shift, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
Patient Ratio: 1:2 (CVICU/CCRU); 1:3 when floated to IMC
 

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Travel experience required.
• First-time travelers may be considered with at least 2 years of extensive CVICU/open-heart experience.
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license required at submission.
• AHA BLS and ACLS required.
• CPI certification may be required for compliance.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the hospital.
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions.
• COVID-19 vaccine not required.

Schedule 

• Every other weekend required.
• Holidays required as scheduled.
• No scheduled on-call shifts required.
• More than 4 consecutive days of requested time off requires an additional contract week.
• Scheduling restrictions cannot be guaranteed.
• Travelers must be comfortable floating within their specialty and to IMC as needed.
