Description

CST / Surgical Tech | Rochester, NY

Start: 11/16/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Mid Shift, 4x10s (1:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Requirements:

3-4+ years of OR/Surgical Tech experience; 4 years preferred
CST certification and NBSTSA required
Previous travel experience required - no first-time travelers
Experience in Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery is a HARD STOP requirement
Must have experience with procedures including gastric bypass/sleeve, aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, VATS, craniotomy, VP shunt, spinal fusion, total hip/knee replacement, and other major OR procedures
Epic experience preferred

Additional Details:

13 operating rooms; approximately 40-60 cases daily
On-call required: 6 shifts per 8-week block, including weekends and holidays
No block scheduling
No pre-approved time off
Scrubs provided
Local candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
NY CST certification required unless the candidate worked as a surgical tech in NY before 2015
