Description

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical and procedural specialties.
Perform general endotracheal anesthesia (GETA), monitored anesthesia care (MAC), regional anesthesia, and spinal anesthesia.
Perform epidurals, including without an anesthesiologist physically present, as permitted by facility protocols.
Provide anesthesia for C-sections and cardiac cases.
Use ultrasound-guided techniques as required.
Support trauma, neurosurgery, spine, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, general surgery, GI, pediatrics, orthopedics, plastics, robotics, and NORA procedures.
Work within a medically directed anesthesia model with a 1:3 ratio, maximum 1:4.

Requirements

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
Active Pennsylvania license or eligible compact license.
ACLS and PALS certifications required.
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
Must be proficient in epidurals, C-sections, and cardiac anesthesia.
CRNAs cannot perform blocks at this facility.
DEA registration is not required.
