Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Overview

Location: Joliet, Illinois
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 days a week
Call: rotating call, 2 days/week and 1 weekend/month
On-call required

Role Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech that does Interventional and Cath Lab Radiology
Assists with scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab
Prepares procedure rooms, monitors instruments and supplies, participates in staff meetings and performance improvement activities, and helps train new staff
Assists in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
ARRT (R)
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
DCI/BVP
Driver's License
Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist)
Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department
