Interventional Radiology Technologist | Days | Rochester, NY | Locals Only 

Facility: Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY, Interventional Radiology
Position: IR Radiologic Technologist, full-time, days
Contract: 12 Weeks +  6-month contractors will be considered.
Open to: Local candidates only

Schedule

• 5x8-hour day shifts [confirm start and end times, and Mon-Fri]
• On-call: 5-7 call shifts per 7-week block, 2-4 of them on weekends [confirm response time]
• Call-back and holidays as the unit needs

About the role
Join the interventional radiology team, where you’ll prepare and instruct patients, assist the radiologist during procedures, and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You’ll run and monitor the department’s equipment, keep rooms turning over between cases, and help teammates when you have a gap. You’ll document in the hospital information system, RIS, and PACS, and handle technical calls from physicians and other departments. The team values flexibility, compassion, and respect for patients and each other.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience [confirm if it must be IR]
• ARRT certification
• NYS license, or able to obtain it before your start date
• BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA only)

Preferred

• VIR certification
