Description
Position: Registered Nurse – GI Lab
Facility: NorthShore Evanston Hospital
Location: Evanston, IL
Contract: 12 Weeks
Start Date: 11/02/2026
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with varying start times between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM
Hours: 36–40 hours per week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- GI Lab experience preferred; candidates with PACU, Telemetry, or procedural nursing experience may also be considered
- Documented patient recovery experience required
- Active Illinois RN license
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications
- Must pass the EKG test with a score of 80% or higher
- Responsibilities include admitting patients, Phase II recovery, and assisting in procedure rooms when qualified
- Travel or PRN experience preferred
- Floating to GI Labs at Highland Park, Skokie, or Evanston may be required
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
- Credentials must be completed by the Thursday before the start date
Pay Package – Travel:
WEEKLY GROSS: $2,320.00
WEEKLY TAXABLE: $640.00
WEEKLY NON-TAXABLE: $1,680.00
Local Pay: $51/hour
