Description
Travel Step Down RN – Days | Warwick, RI
Seeking an experienced Step Down RN with a strong ICU background for an exciting travel nursing opportunity in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 3x12 Days | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Specialty: Step Down / Progressive Care
- Charting: Epic
- Local Candidates: Accepted at a reduced rate
Requirements
- Active Rhode Island RN license or authorization to practice in Rhode Island
- Previous ICU experience REQUIRED
- Epic EMR experience REQUIRED
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience managing high-acuity patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience
- Step Down or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
- Continuous cardiac monitoring
- Complex patient care management
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Step Down patients
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatment
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic
- Ensure patient safety and quality care
Candidates must have both ICU and Epic experience to be considered.
