Description

The Surgical Technologist will support labor and birth procedures at Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City. The role involves preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, preparing surgical instruments and supplies, and assisting the surgical team during obstetric procedures, including C-sections.

Key Requirements - Experience: 3+ years preferred; at least 2 years of labor experience at a hospital handling approximately 350–400 deliveries per month. - Certification: BLS required. - Preferred Certification: CORT. - EMR: Epic. - Unit: Labor & Birth. - Scrub Color: Black. - Weekend Shifts: As required by the facility. - Patient Ratio: 1:1. - Unit Capacity: 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/post beds.
