Description

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
Assess patients' conditions and monitor their progress.
Administer medications and implement treatment plans.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient safety.
Float to similar units as needed, within the nurse's competencies.

Requirements:

Active New York State RN license.
Two years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred; candidates with at least one year may be considered for screening.
BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required before the start date.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
Cerner EMR experience preferred.
