Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient / Hospital Rehab

We are seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This position is primarily based in an outpatient clinic with occasional hospital coverage and is a great fit for a PT with both outpatient and inpatient experience.

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Approximately 1 Saturday per Month at the Hospital
• Carlsbad, New Mexico
• Start Date: 11/23/26
• End Date: 2/21/27

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, mobility interventions, and functional rehabilitation.
• Treat patients across outpatient and hospital-based settings as needed.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, safety, and continued recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience required.
• Outpatient and inpatient experience required.
• Current BLS required.
• Current New Mexico PT license required.
• Candidates with a pending New Mexico license may be considered if proof of the pending license is included with submission.
