Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview

10-hour day shift, Tuesday through Friday, 0630A-1700P
Call required
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Location: Fort Myers, Florida

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Neuro patients
Experience with robotic surgery
Orthopedic Neurology experience

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
PALS

Unit / Clinical Setting

Operating Room
Strong ortho, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics case mix

Schedule / Call

1 shift per week after the scheduled day for 2 to 4 hours
1 to 2 weekend call shifts per month, 12 hours each

Float / Assignment Notes

Floating required
Travelers are first to float, including to other sister campuses

Additional Notes

Scrubs provided by the hospital
Epic EMR
Culture is emphasized as very important
All requested time off must be included at submission
Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start
