Hiring: Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy
Facility: Morristown Medical Center – Atlantic Health System
Location: Morristown, NJ 07960
Contract Dates: 11/23/2026 – 02/21/2027
Shift: Night Shift, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 4x10 shifts per week (as listed in the requisition)
Hours: 37 hours/week
Job Type: Contract
Job Responsibilities:
- Review patient profiles and verify medication orders for appropriate therapy, dosage, route, and frequency.
- Dispense medications and prescriptions accurately and promptly.
- Check unit-dose medications, IVs, automated dispensing machines, and emergency medication kits.
- Prepare and supervise sterile IV compounding, including hazardous drugs and antineoplastic agents.
- Provide clinical interventions, medication recommendations, and drug information to healthcare professionals.
- Monitor medication therapy and support patient safety and pharmacy quality initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Active New Jersey Board of Pharmacy registration and licensure.
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Oncology or infusion center experience.
