Description
Registered Nurse – Nurse Supervisor / Trauma Registrar (Temp-to-permanent)
Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Start Date: 11/16/2026
Duration: 8 weeks initially; temp-to-permanent opportunity
Shift: Days; flexible daytime schedule: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: 5x8 hours; Monday–Friday
Charting System: EPIC
Note: Temp-to-permanent role.
Position Overview: Support trauma program operations as an Assistant Director of Nursing/Lead Trauma Registrar. Monitor and improve patient care and employee performance, assess unit performance, maintain quality and compliance standards, and support trauma registry and reporting activities.
Requirements:
License: Active New York State RN license with primary source verification through NYSED.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of nursing experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role; minimum 1 year of Trauma Center experience required.
Certifications: CAISS certification from AAAM; ATS ICD-10 certification; ATS Trauma Registry Course certification; BLS..
Patient Population: Trauma patients.
Patient Diagnoses: Trauma-related conditions and injuries.
