Med Surg/Tele RN
Overview
- Travel assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana
- 13 weeks
- Night shift: 7pm-7:30am
- Floating required
- Block scheduling is an option
- 25-bed unit with a 12-bed overflow unit
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Scrubs: Navy Blue
- No call requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- IV insertion skills
- Experience with NG tubes
- Ability to insert foley catheters
- Experience with continuous bladder irrigation patients
Additional Details
- EMR: Cerner
- RTO blackout dates: Nov. 21st - Nov. 29th, 2026 and Dec. 20th - Jan. 3rd, 2027
- Maximum RTO: 1 week, with the option to add a week at the end of the contract
- Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- Driver’s license and permanent home address must be included on submission, and the address must match ID
