Description

Required Qualifications

Experience working as a CT Technologist
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
High school diploma or GED
Active New Jersey DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
ARRT – R.T.(R) certification/registration
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic positioning
Strong knowledge of CT equipment, software, and scanning procedures
Thorough knowledge of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
Ability to perform complex CT procedures
Experience with contrast administration, venipuncture, and IV procedures
Ability to review patient histories, prescriptions, and CT protocols
Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as required

Preferred Qualifications

ARRT – R.T.(CT) certification preferred
Minimum of 6 months of CT experience preferred
Experience with EPIC
Experience with HIS/RIS systems
Maintains required continuing education unit (CEU) credits
