We are seeking an experienced dual-modality CT/X-Ray Technologist for a critical access hospital. The selected candidate will perform diagnostic imaging across the X-ray department, CT, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and the emergency department.

This position requires strong CT and general radiography skills, along with the appropriate California credentials and ARRT certifications. The technologist will support a variety of patient imaging needs in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations and CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Operate CT and radiography equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform fluoroscopic imaging and assist with applicable procedures within authorized scope.
• Conduct portable X-ray examinations in the emergency department and other patient care areas.
• Position patients appropriately and ensure image quality while maintaining patient safety.
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and imaging quality standards.
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and provide appropriate patient care throughout examinations.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and follow facility procedures.
• Participate in a rotating weekday and weekend call schedule shared among three technologists.

Required Qualifications

• Five years of relevant radiologic technology experience.
• California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) credential in Radiography.
• California authorization for Fluoroscopy.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Demonstrated ability to perform both CT and general X-ray examinations.
