Ardor guarantees 36 hours weekly under the facility guarantee. When you work additional hours between 36 and 40, those four hours are paid at double-time ($38/hour), providing up to $152 in additional weekly earnings.
Pay estimates assume eligibility for tax-free stipends and are subject to final contract and stipend verification.
About the Facility
Methodist Hospital's inpatient rehabilitation department is a 32-bed unit supported by an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
The department includes approximately 35 therapists and 50 nursing staff members across its staffing complement. Day-shift staffing includes approximately eight Physical Therapists, eight Occupational Therapists, a rehabilitation aide, nurses, patient care technicians, and a unit coordinator.
Clinical Environment:
- Inpatient rehabilitation evaluations and treatment
- Approximately 5.5–6 hours of patient treatment expected, subject to clarification
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, OT, and rehabilitation staff
- Rehabilitation equipment including H200/L300 and BURT
- Meditech electronic medical records
- Potential floating to other Methodist inpatient rehabilitation departments
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum one year of Physical Therapist experience
- Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation
- Active Texas PT license or appropriate practice authorization
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work at least two weekends per four-week period
- Previous inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
